Pete Durant appointed as Head of Mediabrands Society UK

Mediabrands Society, the fully integrated social media and digital content agency within IPG Mediabrands, has appointed Pete Durant as Head of Mediabrands Society UK. Pete will report into Craig Lister, Managing Director of Search and Social at IPG Mediabrands EMEA. In his new position, he will be responsible for growing the agency and taking it into its next phase of development, whilst leading the team of social and content specialists.

Pete brings over 12 years of content, social media and brand marketing experience to the role. He is a narrative brand planner and has gained in-depth knowledge over the last twelve years thanks to numerous award-winning social media campaigns and working with the UK’s best home-grown companies including Specsavers, Waitrose and Comic Relief.

Prior to joining IPG Mediabrands, Pete was Digital Partnerships and Social Media Lead at Comic Relief, where he recently created a first-class Red Nose Day social media campaign and built a digital partnership portfolio with some of the world's best digital companies. He will bring to Mediabrands Society his broad international cross-industry experience across not-for-profit, retail, automotive, travel, insurance, telecoms, news media, broadcasting and social entertainment.
